A really attractive woman may receive hundreds of replies
to her ad every week. That's why I recommended earlier that
you play the numbers game and reply to as many ads as possible.
That way you will increase your chances of getting a reply.
I would also advise that you do not become too attached to
the idea of meeting any particular woman. There may be someone
who you think is really hot so you send her an email and hope
to strike up some kind of communication. But she may never
ever see your email. It's no reflection on who you are and
what you have to offer - your email may be number 100 in her
inbox.
There's not much you can do about this. My advice is that
there are plenty of fish in the sea so keep fishing... with
a real big net!
However, to increase your chances of getting noticed there
are a couple of tricks you can follow:
- Always include a photo. I never open any email
in my inbox unless there's a photo attached. Many women
receive so many replies that they ignore the ones without
photos and go for the ones with pics attached. The important
point here is that even if you have already received a reply
and are sending a follow up communication - always attach
a photo! this will increase your chances of having your
email opened and of the lady remembering you from earlier!
Make sure it's a different photo each time to keep her interest
up. I'll talk more about photos later.
- USE CAPS TO ATTRACT ATTENTION. Most times writing
in uppercase is bad netiquette. However there are times
when it can come in useful. Just imagine the lady has a
long list of new emails in her inbox. How do you differentiate
yourself from all the others when she hasn't even seen your
photograph or read anything about you? One way is to write
the Subject part of the email in uppercase. Alternatively
if you don't like uppercase insert some other symbols to
catch her eye, eg * or $ or %!
- Reply at different times of day or on different days
of the week. If you really like a woman but think your
email is getting lost in the crowd the art is to send your
email just before she reads it. This way you can be sure
your email will be near the top of the pile. The only way
to increase our chances this way is to send an email on
different days of the week AND at different times of day,
eg morning, afternoon and night. Don't send too many mails
in one go as this is spamming and very annoying. This doesn't
have to waste your precious time as there are email packages
that delay sending email for you.
