Just imagine you're in a store and there are only 10 items
left but a hundred guys want to buy it. There are two things
that can happen to resolve the situation:
1.The price goes up and the 10 guys willing to pay the most
get the goods.
2.The guys form a queue and it's first come first served.
There are pros and cons to both. The guys who are willing
to pay more are far more likely to get the goods - but they'll
have less money for other things. With the first come first
served basis you're relying on being near the front of the
queue. If you are you get the goods cheap, if not you get
nothing.
So it is with personals. If your reply or your ad is one of
the few the girl reads, great you may end up getting laid.
But if your ad is anywhere between numbers 20-600, you'll
end up with nothing.
One of the most important bits of advice I have to give you
about placing ads is DO NOT BE A MISER. My granddaddy had
a saying that has always stuck with me: you get what you pay
for in this life. I don't think adult personals was what he
had in mind when he said this but you get my meaning. The
best things in life usually don't come cheap or for free.
I once owned a fake Rolex. It looked OK but it was pretty
embarassing when it broke into a hundred pieces at a friend's
party.
The same applies with adult personals. If you don't want to
get noticed (ie laid) keep your wallet in your pocket and
save your money for buying tissues.
There are lots of sites out there that are 100% free and they're
great - if you're a girl like me that is. For most guys I
think they're pretty hopeless. Why? Because your ad will disappear
into thin air and be lost amongst the hundreds or thousands
of other ads placed by other sex-starved but not so clever
guys.
Most sites offer premium services to people prepared to pay
to get noticed. The great thing is they don't cost all that
much. When you've got some gorgeous girls in your bed you're
going to think of it as the best investment you ever made.
What most of the premium services offer you is VISIBILITY.
Girls like me aren't interested in viewing the ads appearing
at number 100 on the list. In fact I'm not interested in ads
appearing after page 1. Most of us also don't like guys who
are misers! Premium services on some sites like adultfriendfinder.com
also confer lots of additional benefits, eg easier searches
and updates.
So lesson #3 is this: don't be afraid to pay to be noticed.
It may be the best investment you ever make. the key is to
spend your money wisely!
For maybe just a couple of hundred bucks a year you can
probably buy VISIBLITY on quite a few different personals
sites. It's not a big price to pay for something so important
in your life.
